The House of Representatives will hold a session on Tuesday, October 13, to elect its speaker, with the vote scheduled for 3 p.m.
The session follows a formal notice issued by Abdelaziz Aba, head of the parliament’s temporary bureau, calling on all lawmakers to attend.
The election will take place under Article 62 of the Constitution and Article 48 of the House of Representatives’ rules of procedure.
