The ceremony took place at the Royal Guard Officers’ Club in Tetouan on the King’s instructions, in his capacity as Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
The message was presented to the Crown Prince by Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Zone.
In it, officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers renewed their allegiance to King Mohammed VI and reaffirmed their attachment to the Alaouite throne.

Upon his arrival at the officers’ club, the Crown Prince was welcomed by Lieutenant General Berrid before reviewing a headquarters regiment unit that rendered honours.
