A new ranking of Morocco’s top higher education institutions for 2026 points to a growing emphasis on employability, with recruiters placing increasing weight on professional readiness rather than academic reputation alone.
Published by Campus Mag and reported by Consonews, the ranking draws on feedback from more than 100 recruiters, HR directors and business leaders, offering a snapshot of which schools employers believe best prepare graduates for the job market.
The methodology focuses on practical criteria including professional skills, adaptability, international exposure and how quickly graduates integrate into the workplace.
In engineering, private institutions dominate the top tier, with schools such as ISGA, EMSI and École Polytechnique Agadir standing out for their ability to produce job ready graduates.
On the public side, highly selective institutions continue to hold strong positions, including Al Akhawayn University’s School of Science and Engineering, École Centrale Casablanca and Mohammadia School of Engineers.
A similar pattern appears in business and management education, where private institutions including ESCA École de Management, ISGA and Rabat Business School lead the ranking. Public institutions such as ISCAE and ENCG Settat also retained strong credibility among recruiters, alongside Al Akhawayn’s business school.
The ranking also covers international institutions operating in Morocco. ESSEC Business School topped that category ahead of Toulouse Business School, reflecting growing demand for internationally oriented education pathways.
The Campus Mag ranking suggests employers are increasingly evaluating graduates based not only on where they studied, but on how quickly they can adapt and contribute in the workplace.
