A cruise ship stricken with a deadly hantavirus outbreak on Monday sailed away from the Spanish island of Tenerife after the last 28 evacuees disembarked in the evening, AFP reporters saw.
The MV Hondius set off from the Canary Island port of Granadillo with a 26-strong crew and is expected to take around five days to reach Rotterdam, according to cruise operator Oceanwide Expeditions.
