Moroccan featherweight Marwan Rahiki is set for his second UFC appearance on May 2, 2026, at UFC Fight Night 275: Della Maddalena vs. Prates, held at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. He will face Ollie Schmid, who stepped in after Jack Jenkins withdrew due to injury.
Rahiki enters the fight with an 8-0 professional record. His last fight was his UFC debut on March 14, 2026, at UFC Vegas 114, where he defeated Harry Hardwick by stoppage after two rounds. The win kept his unbeaten record intact and earned wider attention after a hard, damaging performance.
Marwan, also nicknamed “Freaky” built his record through regional MMA before entering the UFC, with wins mostly by knockout and submission. The UFC lists him as going 4-0 in 2025, including three knockouts and one submission, before his 2026 debut.
Rahiki earned his UFC contract in 2025 through Season 9 of Dana White’s Contender Series. His rise came quickly, but not by chance as after leaving his home in Rabat at 19, he moved to Australia and made a name for himself with fast finishes, earning the nickname “Freaky.”
He made his amateur debut in 2023, then turned professional in 2024 at the age of 21. On the Australian regional scene, he built a perfect 6-0 record and won two regional belts.
With a strong kickboxing base, precise striking, and a solid ground game backed by his violet belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, this fight gives Rahiki a clear chance to prove he can turn promise into consistency inside the octagon against his taekwondo black belt opponent.
