Morocco has been selected to participate in a White House task force aimed at strengthening international security coordination ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The initiative, launched in coordination with FIFA, brings together partner countries to enhance cooperation on safety and security measures for the global tournament, which is expected to draw millions of fans.
The move comes as Washington and Rabat prepare to mark 250 years of diplomatic relations, highlighting longstanding ties between the two countries and ongoing efforts to deepen cooperation across multiple sectors, including security and sports.
