Police in the Bettana district of Sale arrested three individuals, including a minor, Tuesday in connection with a violent theft captured on social media.
Investigations revealed that one suspect reportedly stole a minor’s mobile phone, prompting another individual to intervene. The confrontation escalated into a violent altercation involving all three suspects using knives. All parties reside in the same neighborhood, authorities said.
Two suspects were immediately apprehended by police, while the third, allegedly involved in the theft, was hospitalized for injuries sustained during the incident.
The detainees are now under judicial investigation overseen by the public prosecutor’s office to determine the circumstances of the case and establish each suspect’s involvement in the criminal acts.
