The Confederation of African Football has unveiled its official best XI of the AFCON 2025 group stage, with Morocco standing out as the only team to place two players in the lineup.
Set in a 4 3 3 formation, the selection reflects the strongest individual performances from the opening round of the tournament hosted in Morocco.
Right back Noussair Mazraoui earned his place with a composed and disciplined display, combining defensive solidity with intelligent support in attack. Further forward, Brahim Diaz emerged as one of the group stage’s standout performers, scoring in all three matches and driving Morocco’s attacking rhythm with pace and precision.
