CAN 2025: 250,000 tickets sold in first phase, organizers say
Wednesday 15 October 2025 - 22:33

The organizing committee of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations announced that 250,000 tickets out of 400,000 available in the first sales phase had been sold as of 2 p.m. Wednesday, reflecting strong early demand ahead of the tournament hosted by Morocco.

The 400,000 tickets released represent one-third of the total for all 52 matches of the competition, the committee said.

Two additional sales phases are scheduled, the second beginning October 25 and the final one on November 25.

According to officials, 211,078 ticket requests have been submitted through the Yalla mobile app, while 170,350 FAN IDs have already been issued, including 43,865 to foreign applicants from 124 countries. Each FAN ID entitles its holder to purchase one ticket per match.

The committee warned fans against fraudulent platforms, emphasizing that Yalla is the only authorized channel for ticket purchases.

The CAN 2025 will take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
