Four Moroccan stadiums have been nominated for the international “Stadium of the Year 2025” award organized by StadiumDB.com, a specialist platform that ranks newly built or renovated sports venues worldwide.

The Moroccan nominees are Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, Moulay El Hassan Stadium, the Olympic Stadium in Rabat and the Grand Stade de Tanger. The competition features 28 stadiums completed or substantially modernized in 2025.

Public voting opened on Feb. 3 and runs until March 9 at midnight Central European Time. Voters are required to select five stadiums and rank them from five stars to one star, with one vote permitted per device.

Morocco ranks second globally in number of nominated stadiums, behind China. The nominations come as the country continues upgrading sports infrastructure ahead of major international events, including the 2030 FIFA World Cup, which Morocco will co-host with Spain and Portugal.
