Police in the northern Moroccan city of Kenitra arrested a 34-year-old man on Monday for allegedly engaging in reckless and dangerous driving in public spaces, putting the safety of pedestrians and motorists at risk.

According to Hespress AR sources, the suspect was involved in high-speed, stunt-style driving on public roads and even inside a gas station, actions that reportedly included illegal street racing.

The incidents were documented in videos widely circulated on social media, prompting public concern and drawing the attention of law enforcement authorities.

Investigations led to the identification and arrest of the suspect in Kenitra. Police also seized two vehicles believed to have been used in the reckless acts.

The suspect has been placed under judicial investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office, as authorities work to uncover the full details of the case and determine the motives behind the criminal behavior.

Police reiterated their commitment to cracking down on dangerous driving and public endangerment, particularly when such acts are shared online and glorified.
