Canadian firm signs deal for titanium exploration on Morocco’s Atlantic Coast

Steadright Critical Minerals Inc., a Canadian company specializing in critical mineral exploration, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Moroccan firm NSM Capital to jointly develop a titanium-rich exploration zone in southern Morocco.

The agreement covers a 160 km² area in the Cap Juby region, known for its coastal sands containing high concentrations of titanium dioxide (TiO₂).

Steadright may acquire up to 80 percent of the project, now named the TitanBeach Titanium Project. An independent NI 43-101-compliant technical study is set to begin next week to assess the site’s economic potential.

Titanium dioxide is classified as a strategic mineral across North America and the EU due to its applications in aerospace, automotive, and electronics. Rising global demand has driven prices higher.

Steadright’s CEO, Matt Lewis, highlighted Morocco’s mining-friendly environment and tax incentives. If preliminary results are confirmed, exploration permits could soon transition to full mining licenses.
