Morocco’s Akdital launches $70M hospital project in Dubai
Tuesday 3 June 2025 - 13:01

Moroccan private healthcare leader Akdital has begun construction on its first international hospital in Dubai, marking its entry into the Gulf region with a $70 million investment.

The facility, slated to open in late 2026, will offer comprehensive medical, surgical, and oncology services, with a planned capacity of 200 beds and cutting-edge equipment meeting global standards.

This move reflects Akdital’s broader strategy to export Moroccan medical expertise while supporting rising demand for specialized care in the region. The group frames the project as part of its mission to make advanced healthcare accessible and human-centered.

In Morocco, Akdital operates 36 facilities across 21 cities, totaling 4,100 beds and supported by 7,500 healthcare professionals. Listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange since 2022, the group continues to expand its national and now international footprint through a model based on innovation, territorial coverage, and patient trust.
