Renowned content creator Ilyass El Maliki has been honored as the Moroccan Influencer of the Year during Les Impériales Week 2025, a prominent event celebrating excellence in Morocco’s communication, marketing, media, and digital industries.
“Thank you to my Moroccan brothers and to Les Impériales for choosing me as the Influencer of the Year,” El Maliki responded in a heartfelt message played during the event.
This recognition comes shortly after El Maliki’s release from prison in late December 2024, following a two-month suspended sentence related to charges of inciting discrimination and hatred through online content, and his subsequent participation in the Kings League World Cup as Morocco’s team lead.
Despite recent controversies, El Maliki’s significant impact on digital media and his strong connection with audiences were acknowledged through this award, highlighting his influential role in Morocco’s evolving digital landscape.
