OCP Nutricrops, the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), Intercéréales-France, and Arvalis have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening collaboration in agricultural research and development.
This agreement marks a significant step in the partnership among the four institutions, each contributing unique expertise in agriculture, research, technological development, and innovation.
Innovative Projects to Address Agricultural Challenges
The primary goal of the memorandum is to explore and develop joint research projects focusing on soil health and fertility, precision agriculture, water management, and climate change adaptation. The initiatives will involve the exchange of expertise and scientific knowledge on sustainable agricultural practices, along with the development of solutions tailored to local soil and agro-ecological conditions. The partners also commit to organizing events, meetings, and training sessions to promote productive, low-carbon agriculture.
