Italian authorities in Florence have expelled five foreign nationals, including two Moroccans aged 23 and 30. The pair had served prison sentences for charges related to kidnapping and domestic abuse, local media reported.

The expelled individuals reportedly failed to comply with residency requirements and are prohibited from returning to Italy for the next three years. Authorities also completed the expulsion procedures for 16 additional foreign nationals who will be returned to their home countries.

The operation included a 44-year-old Albanian convicted of fraud and a 27-year-old man whose residency application was denied by Italian officials. A Nigerian national, known to police for various crimes and residing illegally in Italy, was also among those expelled.
