Friday 11 October 2024 - 22:43

The Government Council, meeting in Rabat on Thursday, approved an amendment to the March 8, 2004 agreement between Morocco and Spain on the reciprocal recognition and exchange of national driving licenses.

The amendment allows Moroccan drivers to exchange their national driving licenses for Spanish equivalents without having to take the theoretical exam.

Moroccan drivers holding category C, C+E, D, or D+E licenses will need to pass a practical driving test on a public road using a vehicle(s) corresponding to their license category.
