Morocco is “very well represented” at the Francophonie Village in Paris to showcase its cultural diversity, ahead of the XIXth Francophonie Summit (October 4-5), Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid said on Thursday in the French capital.
“We will take this opportunity to promote our culture”, Bensaid told MAP during his visit to the Moroccan Pavilion.
For Bensaid, this is at the core of his department’s strategy to reinforce the presence of Moroccan culture and know-how at international events, as demonstrated in the Village de la Francophonie, which attracts a large number of visitors across the globe.
Organized by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, the national pavilion showcases the Moroccan culture’s richness and diversity, featuring a program highlighting its unique heritage as well as its various sustainability-related initiatives.
Following its inauguration on Wednesday, it has been packed with visitors, all keen to be in such a warm space full of Moroccan hospitality, to embark on a journey of exploration of the country’s heritage, including an augmented reality tour of the Kingdom’s historic sites.
