Morocco and Egypt signed a series of agreements Monday aimed at strengthening cooperation in youth and cultural sectors.
The agreements were signed during the first session of the Moroccan-Egyptian Coordination and Monitoring Committee held in Egypt’s new administrative capital.
Morocco’s Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, signed a memorandum of understanding on youth cooperation with his Egyptian counterpart Jawhar Nabil. The agreement focuses on enhancing bilateral exchanges and expanding collaboration in youth programs.
Bensaid also signed a separate memorandum of understanding in the cultural field with Egypt’s Minister of Culture, Jehan Zaki, along with an executive program outlining joint cultural initiatives between the two countries.
The agreements are part of broader efforts by Rabat and Cairo to deepen bilateral ties across multiple sectors.
