Three Moroccan citizens, previously abducted in Myanmar, returned to Morocco on Saturday, Hespress learns from a verified source.
The three Moroccans arrived at Casablanca’s Mohammed V international airport on Saturday morning.
The return of the three Moroccans abducted in Myanmar by a criminal network specializing in human trafficking and cybercrime took place via a flight from Laos to Casablanca via Doha in Qatar.
As a reminder, the criminal network operating in Myanmar kidnapped several Moroccans aged between 28 and 38. Their families organized demonstrations in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to alert public opinion.

An investigation has been opened against the kidnappers to determine the circumstances of their connection to Myanmar and to monitor the true context of the kidnapping.
The investigation should determine the possible extensions of the network involved in these criminal acts and its possible links with international human and migrant trafficking networks.
