Khaliji tourists implicated in Marrakech villa death of young woman

Moroccan authorities have launched an investigation into the death of a young woman in her twenties at a rented villa in the resort area of Ouahat Sidi Brahim, near Marrakech. The woman was found unconscious in the villa’s swimming pool and later died at a Marrakech clinic.

Two Khaliji tourists, three young women, and the villa manager have been detained for questioning in connection with the incident. Preliminary investigations suggest the group was preparing for a party involving drugs and alcohol at the time of the woman’s death.

Authorities are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. The investigation will aim to establish whether excessive drug use, negligence, or other factors contributed to the tragic event.
