Morocco’s Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced on Tuesday evening that Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 10.
This coincides with the first day of Shawwal in the Islamic calendar (1445 AH).
The Ministry monitored the crescent moon sighting after sunset and contacted officials nationwide, including religious leaders and military personnel involved in the process.
