The situation of Moroccans stranded in Gaza continues to deteriorate following Israeli airstrikes early Thursday in the city of Rafah. This has prompted renewed appeals from the affected individuals to Moroccan authorities for expedited repatriation.

According to reports received by Hespress from a Moroccan family residing at the crossing, the airstrikes occurred close to their home, approximately 150 to 200 meters away, with no reported injuries.

The same family has urged Moroccan authorities to hasten their repatriation, citing the increasing danger to their lives amidst ongoing Israeli threats to invade Rafah city.
