An Israeli rap duo has reportedly released a song advocating for the deaths of Dua Lipa, Bella Hadid, and Mia Khalifa. The track, described by artists Ness and Stilla as a “war anthem,” has sparked controversy in Israel due to its endorsement of military action in the Gaza Strip following the 7 October events.
Titled “Harbu Darbu,” translating to “raining hell on one’s opponent” in Hebrew slang, the song has amassed over 18 million views on YouTube since its release on 14 November last year, according to The Times. The duo claims the song is meant to be a patriotic anthem to boost morale. In the lyrics, the rappers express a desire for the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) to target Dua Lipa, Bella Hadid, and Mia Khalifa.
