The top UN court on Friday said Israel should do everything it could to prevent any acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip, in a highly anticipated ruling.
Israel must do everything to “prevent the commission of all acts within the scope” of the Genocide Convention, said the International Court of Justice.
President Cyril Ramaphosa and the ruling council of South Africa’s ruling party erupted in cheers, singing and dancing Friday after the top UN court ordered Israel to prevent possible genocide in Gaza.
