A man in his thirties died in a work accident at a sardine canning factory in Tan-Tan on Monday.
He fell while cleaning a sewage channel. Another worker trying to help was injured and taken to the Tantan Regional Hospital, sources told Hespress AR.
Emergency services extracted both men from the sewage drain, but the first worker passed away on the way to the emergency room.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
