In order to conduct a comprehensive evaluation and identify potential areas of future collaboration, the Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Mehdi Bensaid, went on a field visit to several youth and cultural infrastructures in the city of Rabat with the Governor of the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, Mohamed Yacoubi.

The main focus of this visit was the reconstruction project for the Hope Youth House in the Yacoub El Mansour neighborhood. The project is anticipated to be finished by the end of January of next year, and it will feature fresh facilities like video game halls and youth-oriented workshops.

The Minister and the Governor also made a similar visit to the Al-Najah Youth Center, which has been rehabilitated to provide services to the residents of the city of Rabat, such as theater workshops and music classes.

The Bouhlal Reception Center, which will be renovated to become an auberge youth shelter in accordance with a contemporary architectural design and be one of the services covered by the youth pass, was also inspected by the government representatives.

The visit also included the El Mansour Theater, one of the major cultural landmarks in Rabat and regarded as one of the neighboring theaters following its rehabilitation to comply with the most recent standards, the Socio-Sports Center of Light in the Kamra, and the Cultural Center at Douar El Koura.

At the Mehdi Ben Barka Cultural Center in L’Ocean, the Minister and the Governor wrapped up their visit.

The inspections are a part of the ongoing process of assessing how well the youth and culture sectors’ infrastructure is meeting the needs of both male and female citizens and incorporating the newest services and cutting-edge architectural styles.
