Sedriques Dumas of Pensacola secured his second consecutive victory in the octagon at UFC 294, triumphing over Abu Azaitar on Saturday night.
The battle concluded with a unanimous decision from the judges, who all concurred with scores of 29-28, in favor of Dumas.
In Round 2, with all three judges awarded a 10-9 score in favor of Azaitar. However, Dumas rallied in Round 3 ultimately leading to his victory.
During a media day interview earlier in the week, Dumas revealed that Azaitar had initially withdrawn from their scheduled bout in March, forcing Dumas to adapt and face a new opponent on short notice, which unfortunately disrupted his previous winning streak.
