The Ministry of Health has partnered with Air Ocean Maroc to strengthen the country’s emergency medical response capabilities.

In this arrangement, the Rabat-based company will provide air medical transport services, receiving approximately 30 million dirhams in return.

The core objective is to enhance healthcare services, particularly in the realm of medical emergencies, by addressing challenges linked to response time and accessibility, especially in remote or hard-to-reach areas.

Air Ocean Maroc boasts a fleet of medical aircraft, including Hawker 800 XPIs and King Air 200s, equipped to provide comprehensive medical monitoring during patient transport.

This strategic collaboration is part of Morocco’s broader efforts to modernize and elevate its healthcare services, aligning with the emergency medical assistance service (SAMU) activities.

This initiative is poised to offer health professionals a rapid and secure means of transportation for immediate medical interventions, potentially saving lives and reducing complications.
