On Monday morning, a swift response from the judicial police in Azilal led to the apprehension of three individuals aged between 20 and 35.
They were subsequently brought before the Public Prosecution on suspicion of their involvement in a case centered around disseminating false news regarding a supposed plane crash within the Azilal province. The incident was believed to have the potential to disrupt security and jeopardize the safety of citizens.
Sources close to the matter, speaking to Hespress AR, disclosed that the Azilal judicial police acted promptly in response to the deceptive reports concerning an alleged plane crash in the vicinity of the Ait Bouli community, located within the Azilal province. Thorough research and investigative efforts led to the identification and subsequent arrest of the suspects.
The individuals in question are all residents of the Azilal region. Two of them were found to be associated with two separate Facebook pages, while the third maintained a personal account on the social networking platform. Following the completion of necessary judicial investigative procedures, the suspects were referred to the Public Prosecution.
