The General Directorate of Meteorology said Tuesday will see a wave of intense heat set to blanket the South, South-East, and the interior of the Souss region, along with the Saiss and plains to the West of the Atlas.
Expectations of showers and thunderstorms loom over the High and Middle Atlas as well as the Oriental region.
Residents in the South-East and North-East of the southern provinces will experience temporary cloud cover, while coastal areas may witness the emergence of local fog formations. Gusts of wind carrying dust particles are anticipated over the Western areas of the Southern provinces.
Minimum temperatures are projected to range between 15°C and 21°C in proximity to the Atlas and coastal regions, with hotter readings from 30°C to 36°C across the Tadla plains, South-East, and the interior of the South. The rest of the areas will see temperatures ranging from 21°C to 29°C.
Maximum temperatures are expected to slightly decrease in the Souss region and the central and northern plains of the southern provinces. Coastal conditions exhibit a tranquil Mediterranean, a somewhat mild to unsettled Strait, slightly choppy to turbulent north of the Jorf, and rough seas along the remaining Atlantic coast
