“Morak”, the first track off of Manal Benchlikha’s new album Arabian Heartbreak came out this week. Manal’s voice lends the song a distinctive feel, and she performs it with dark and strong energy.
Manal’s new artistic identity represents karma and the idea that our deeds have repercussions.
The new song “Arabian Heartbreak” is the opening track of Manal’s next album. Produced by Prinzly and Ponko, it will soon incorporate features from Damso, Hamza, Disiz, and more French rappers.
As per Manal’s new artistic persona, which primarily relies on traditional themes and Moroccan heritage in Morak’s song video, this next album depicts a transformative journey for the Arab woman.
The music video opens with Manal drowning, in never seen before dark visuals and heavy beats.
Fathers, heavy black eyeliner, golden and silver jewelry stacked, Manal appeared in several looks as she sang about Karma and danced to the beat.
