Prince Harry and wife Meghan were involved in a “near catastrophic” car chase with paparazzi in New York on Tuesday night, a spokesperson for the couple said.
The incident happened after the Sussexes attended an awards ceremony in New York on Tuesday, and were accompanied by Markle’s mother.
The New York Police Department confirmed in a public statement that an incident took place and said that numerous photographers “made their transport challenging”.
However no injuries were reported, or arrests made.
