Following the launch of the “Marrakech, Health and Beauty Valley” , regional ecosystem at the 1st International Congress on Aromatic and Medicinal Plants (PPAM) in Marrakech in 2019, and in response to the recommendations of participating professionals, the Cluster Menara and the Regional Investment Center of Marrakech-Safi , are proud to announce the organization of the first edition of AROMAPLANT EXPO, the exhibition of innovation and valorization of the Aromatic, Medicinal, and Perfume Plants (PPAM) sector.
This event is organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Trade along with the Wilaya of Marrakech-Safi.
This unique event in Morocco will be held from June 1st to 4, 2023, in Marrakech, at the Mohammed VI Museum for the Civilization of Water in Morocco. AROMAPLANT EXPO will bring together professionals in the sector, including national producers, cooperatives, buyers, investors, institutions, distribution and packaging actors, research and development, and training actors, to discuss the major challenges of the PPAM sector.
The exhibition will host more than 2,000 visitors to meet nearly 100 exhibitors, Moroccan and international, large groups, SMEs, start-ups, laboratories and prototyping centers, cooperatives, public institutions, machine and packaging suppliers, etc.
This first national exhibition will also be an opportunity to promote investment in the valorization and innovation of the sector at the Marrakech-Safi regional level, whic his betting on this sector as one of the potential axes of development and growth in the region.
This exhibition will also provide economic actors with training workshops to strengthen their capacities and help them better develop their businesses. Another exclusive workshop will be dedicated to the vast prospects of the global market for medical products made from cannabis.
In addition, AROMAPLANT EXPO will be an opportunity to welcome, for the first time in its exhibition, the transformers and valorizers of the Cannabis branch. Morocco is one of the most promising countries in this sector. The creation of a regulated production and valorization market for cannabis in Morocco is accompanied by significant economic benefits for growers and sector companies. Companies investing in the sector could derive great benefits from this opportunity.
The international exhibition of aromatic and medicinal plants is an opportunity to showcase young entrepreneurs and young companies dedicated to this booming sector. Indeed, more and more young entrepreneurs are gettinginto the production, processing, and marketing of aromatic and medicinal plants using innovative and environment ally friendly methods. AROMAPLANT EXPO will focus on innovation as a key element for the sustainable development of the PPAM industry.
