Morocco’s Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) has praised Prime Minister Fatima Zahra El Mansouri for forming a government in record time and endorsed the 2027 Finance Bill, describing it as a reflection of the party’s election commitments.

In a statement following its political bureau meeting in Rabat on Monday, October 26, PAM credited Mansouri’s political leadership with securing a governing coalition and completing the constitutional process after winning parliamentary confidence.

The party said the draft budget contained measures aimed at improving purchasing power, strengthening social protection, creating opportunities for young people and accelerating regional development.

It also welcomed the government’s parliamentary engagement and called on its ministers and lawmakers to prioritize addressing local concerns.

The political bureau appointed Samir Goudar to coordinate a committee examining possible reforms to legislation governing upcoming municipal and regional elections.

The party also announced plans for regional meetings to prepare for those contests.

On the Sahara, PAM welcomed Morocco’s first National Unity Day, to be celebrated annually on October 31, citing the diplomatic developments reflected in UN Security Council Resolution 2797.
