On set shooting with Cameron Diaz for her first movie in nine years, Hollywood star Jamie Foxx suffered from severe health complications due to stress, which required urgent care.

Co-star in “Back in Action,” the actor was reportedly seconds away from catastrophe, as doctors tried to revive him.

The 55-year-old was rushed to a hospital in Atlanta, said Radar Online, adding that a source told them that Foxx is “lucky to be alive”.

Corrine, Jamie’s daughter was the first the make the news public as she wrote on her socials  “Luckily due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”

An insider told Radar Online that the actor went through a lot of stress, which might’ve led to his collapse.

However, another source told the same media that Foxx was absolutely troubled during the shoot and that he wasn’t fun to be around, especially for his co-star, Diaz, which might’ve also been related to his sudden health issues.

Now awake and alert, Foxx is still in recovery.
