Moroccan rapper ElGrandeToto said that his upcoming show in Paris’ historic Olympia concert hall will feature guests from his second studio album.
The Mghayer rapper told Hespress English that the show will be “the best way to open the tour,” adding that it will feature “some guests from the first album and maybe others from the new upcoming project.”
The rapper also noted that teasers from the new album will drop “anytime”
ElGrandeToto announced on Wednesday that he will perform in the Olympia de Paris on November 5, making him the first Moroccan rapper to take the historic stage.
The Olympia Hall was opened in 1893 and has featured some of the biggest names in music history, including Edith Piaf, the Beatles, Umm Kulthum, and many more.
Morocco’s most streamed rapper noted that he is working “on a real artistic show,” hinting at a concert that will push the envelope for the rapper.
The announcement comes following a tumultuous couple of months for the rapper, after being in the middle of a controversy leading to legal trouble.
But the Chaméleon rapper stressed that the obstacles are part of the road, confidently stating that “fire is coming.”
