A professor from a Pennsylvania business school attempted to test AI chatbot ChatGPT with an MBA exam, only to be surprised that the AI passed with a score between B- and B.
The test was part of Professor Christian Terwiesch’s research paper on whether or not the AI would be able to receive an MBA from Wharton, wich is considered one of the most prestigious business schools in the world.
According to Terwiesch, the bot did an “amazing job at basic operations management and process analysis questions, including those that are based on case studies.
Terwiesch’s findings add on to a pile of concerns among educators that ChatGPT could inspire cheating, as places like New York City’s Department of Education announced a ban on the chatbot on school devices and networks.
