Moroccan international and Chelsea player Hakim Ziyech imposed a condition for a move to AC Milan during the upcoming winter transfer window.
The Italian network “Sport Mediaset” stated that the Moroccan player is asking for an annual salary of eight million euros in order to sign for the “Rossoneri”.
The same source stressed that Milan cannot pay the salary demanded by Ziyech, highlighting that the Italian team hopes that the Moroccan international will reduce his salary demands in order to speed up the deal.
The network confirmed Ziyech’s performance in the World Cup is what made the Moroccan player raise the ceiling of his demands.
Ziyech receives an annual salary of six million euros, the source stressed that it is normal for the “Blues” player to demand a higher salary than the one he receives at Chelsea.
Ziyech did not play many matches with Chelsea last season, which plays a key part in his decision to leave, especially after Milan’s strong desire to assign him.
