Taking place in the iconic Jemaa El Fna square in the beautiful city of Marrakech, on December 29, the “Stars in the place concert” will feature the biggest names in the French music scene alongside local artists.

The mega concert held under the high patronage of King Mohammed VI honors morocco and presents it as the land of openness, peace, and fraternity that it is.

Stars in The Place is a concert that Lamalif Group is kindly providing for free to the general public in an effort to promote culture and hopes to democratize entertainment, said the group in an official press release.

The event’s lineup featured, Gims, Dadju, Black M, Camélia, Eva, Naps, Linh, Nej, Grini, Rym, and DJ Red Supa.

Starting at 6 p.m. on December 29, this is Stars in the place’s fourth edition. This year, it’s themed ‘Gims and friends.’

Young Moroccan audiences in particular enjoy and adore the guest performers. The organizing group declares that they “blow up the counters with millions of views on social networks.

A VIP section and a luxury village are two of the additions to the 2022 edition. A comprehensive and interesting program run by the event’s sponsors is on the schedule.

Houda El Khatib, Executive Director of the Stars in the Place’s Organizing Committee, said that Stars in the Place is a recognized and uniting brand today.

“The goal is to provide the best experience to a crowd that is eager for new things,” said El Khatib.

A peak of 200,000 spectators is anticipated for the 2022 edition in terms of attendance. In 2019, 140,000 people attended the show, making Stars in The Place one of the major events on the cultural and events agenda.

The event is being organized by Lamalif Group, a pioneer in public lighting and urban planning in the country.

Notably, ‘Rabat Ville Lumiere’, ‘Tanger Metropole’, ‘Al Hoceima Manarate Al Moutaoussit’, as well as ‘Greater Agadir’, the Moroccan group has contributed to the fulfillment of structuring initiatives for the transformation of these cities and their territory.
