The former Atlas Lions coach Vahid Halilhodzic stated that he is currently on vacation, after mutually terminating his contract with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
The French-Bosnian revealed some of his plans during the upcoming period to Serbian media.
“I am currently on vacation, which I believe will last until the end of the year, and after that, I will consider the next experience that I will pursue,” Halilhodzic said in a statement to Serbian media.
The French-Bosnian coach had previously stated that the decision to separate from the first Moroccan national team three months before the Qatar 2022 World Cup had affected him, and that he might consider retiring permanently.
Following the dismissal of German Thomas Muller, the coach’s management offered his services to Chelsea FC, according to the French newspaper L’Equipe.
Halilhodzic has the opportunity to gain new experience in the French League with one of the “Ligue 1” clubs in the upcoming football season, according to the same source.
