French-Bosnian Vahid Halilhodzic reportedly offered his services to the management of Chelsea FC to succeed German Thomas Tuchel as coach of the first team, according to French media L’equipe.
Halilhodzic’s request did not receive approval from the London-based club officials.
Additionally, the former coach of the Moroccan team requested to meet with the new Chelsea owner, American Todd Boley in order to hold talks with him for the same purpose.
The French-Bosnian coach has received many offers from several clubs, mainly Arab, according to the same source.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation ended the contract with Halilhodzic weeks ago, with national coach Walid Regragui succeding him.
