A devastating traffic accident on National Road No. 11 linking the cities of Khouribga and Fquih Ben salah lead to 22 deaths on Wednesday.
Witnessed this morning, the fatal accident occurred after a public transport bus overturned on the edge of the road in the rural community of Boulanouar.
In addition to the 22 deaths, more than 30 people sustained injuries of varying severity, according to Hespress sources.
The same sources added that the incident mobilized the Royal Gendarmerie, Civil Protection, and local and regional authorities, as the injured were transferred to the Hassan II Regional Hospital in Khouribga, and the bodies of the victims were referred to the mortuary.
