The regular session of the national exam began this Monday, with strict security measures across the country.

The baccalaureate exams for scientific fields are taking place starting June 20 to 22, while for literary fields from June 23 to 24.

Additionally, the National Education Ministry explained that it has set up detection devices to avoid cheating attempts during exams.

Over the past two weeks, the security authorities conducted intensive campaigns in different cities, which resulted in the dismantling of a number of networks promoting fraud and electronic devices used for the same purpose.

In the largest Moroccan region of Casablanca-Settat, a total of 117.000 students are taking this academic year’s baccalaureate exams, according to MAP.

The number of candidates in Rabat-Sale-Kenitra reached 81,220, including 39,179 of whom are females, and 42,41 males.

The National Education Minister, Chakib Benmoussa went on a visit today to the Houssain Slaoui High School in Sale.

The Minister did not enter classrooms to avoid disturbing students, but he did inspect the conditions.

The High school was respecting COVID-19 precautionary measures, in light of the current spike in cases.

The National Education Ministry already said that it will officially announce the normal session results on July 1.

During this academic year, students will receive their final results via text messages, rather than the usual Massar platform procedure.
