The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) published on Monday the schedule of games the Moroccan football team will play for the month of June.
The Atlas Lions will play three games this upcoming month, including two counting for the qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations (CAN-2023), scheduled in the Ivory Coast.
On its website, the FRMF said that “the national selection will conduct a training course from late May 2022 until mid-June next.”
This training course will know the programming of three matches including two official counting for the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations Ivory Coast 2023.
According to the Federation, the first match is a friendly game scheduled for June 1st in Cincinnati.
The Atlas Lions will face the US national team at 7:30 pm Moroccan time. The match is part of the preparations for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The other two matches are part of the qualifiers for the upcoming African Cup of Nations.
On the first day, the national team is set to face off against South Africa on Thursday, June 9 in Rabat’s Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex.
For their second official match, the Atlas Lions will face off the Liberian selection on Monday, June 13, taking place in Casablanca’s Mohammed V stadium.
