Saudi company offered Ali Sahrawi, who helped rescuers to save Rayan’s life, free flight tickets and hotel rooms for an “Umra,” a visit to the Muslim holy city of Mecca.
Local media reported on Monday that Ali Sahrawi is on his way to perform the “Umra”, which was offered by the Saoudi company, Hijazi Group.
Ali Sahrawi made international headlines for his efforts during a four-day rescue operation to save the life of Rayane, a five-year-old boy who died five days after being trapped in a well near Morocco’s Chefchaouen.
