Morocco is expected to resume GMT time as of this Sunday, until the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
This change in timing comes as a result of the need to adapt to this blessed month, in line with the October 26, 2018 decree, relating to the Kingdom’s legal time, and the decision made by the Head of government in this regard.
It is also planned, according to a previous statement from the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, to resume GMT+1 once again after the end of the month of Ramadan, adding 60 minutes, starting May 8 at 2 a.m.
As for working hours in public administrations and local authorities, they will undergo a change during the month of Ramadan by adopting a continuous timing from 9 a.m until 3 p.m all along this period.
There must be an end to the illegally enforced summer hour for all the troubles it has caused!
