Tel Aviv residents of Maghrebi origins can celebrate this year’s Mimouna to the sounds of Gnaoua, as Maalem Hamid El Kasri is set to perform in the Barby Club on April 23.
El Kasri will be headlining the Inshallove festival, alongside Israeli Moroccan singer Neta Elkayam and DJ Khen Elmaleh.
Mimouna is a traditional Maghrebi Jewish celebration dinner that follows Passover week, marking the return to eating hametz.
