Over six million have died from Covid-19, since the pandemic took the world by surprise over two years ago.
The latest data available on the Johns Hopkins University website showed that the total deaths reached six million and 100 cases as of Monday.
The total number of infections rose to 446,365,000.
The number of vaccine doses administered around the world has also increased to over ten billion.
