Low-cost Emarati airline Air Arabia is scheduled to launch a direct flight between Barcelona and Morocco’s Oujda, set to operate from March 27 onboard Airbus A 320.
Departures from Oujda are scheduled for Friday and Sunday at 10:50 a.m., with arrivals in Barcelona at 2:35 p.m.
Likewise, the departure from Barcelona will take place at 10:25 a.m. and will land in Oujda at 2:05 p.m.
This move comes as part of Morocco’s decision to reopen air borders starting February 7.
Due to pandemic-related concerns, especially with the emergence of the Omicron variant nationwide, the country suspended previously direct flights for two months.
Most recently, Air Arabia operated a repatriation flight for Moroccan citizens residing in Ukraine on February 15, at 5:10 am, the airline announced on Twitter.
